Kids Summer Homestead Camp is for children ages 6-12 years old, developed and managed by Denise and Aaron Leddy.
We will be running our summer homestead camp just twice in 2025, but we hope to expand it in the years ahead.
Session #1 : June 24-28, 2025
Session #2 : July 22-26, 2025

Our Kids Summer Homestead Camp runs from 8am-3pm, Monday through Friday of camp week. Extended care times are available until 5pm for an additional fee. Similar programming is held for the June and July camps. If you are a returning camp member, you can enjoy some of the same activities as last year, but also some new ones!!
Please note that we are a working farm. We do have plenty of farm animals, including friendly farm doggies. Children will participate in hands-on culinary and creative activities that connect them to food, farming, and nature. On Fridays, campers will learn how to make and enjoy their own farm fresh pizza. Yum!

We provide your child with the opportunity to learn valuable life skills, make new friends, and discover new interests, all while participating in real life on a local farm.

Camp Cost: $250 per camper
​
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your child’s spot and goes towards your child’s camp fee. If you need to cancel that week and move your child to another week, that non-refundable deposit will not be applied to the new week. Additionally, canceling with less than one week notice, the balance will not be refunded. All balances are due by June 1st, unless other arrangements are made.​ If your child is unable to attend the full week due to illness or other commitments, we are not able to reschedule or refund the missed times, however refunds for illness will be considered on individual basis.

8:00-8:30 – Drop off, morning meeting or yoga
8:30-9:30 – Project #1 (e.g. nature hike)
9:30-10:00 – Bathroom & snack break
10:00-11:00 – Project #2 (e.g. study habitats & build one)
11:00-12:00 – Lunch & games
12:00-1:00 – Arts & crafts (e.g. kindness rocks)
1:00-2:00 – Project #3 (e.g. harvest/plant)
2:00-2:30 – Games & snack break
2:30-3:00 – Clean up & head home
