Meet Michael
🐾 You might spot Michael ollowing Maxie around the homestead, squeezing through gates that are far too small for the bigger dogs, introducing himself to every animal he meets, or stretched out in the shade enjoying one of his famous afternoon naps. If you see two tiny Chihuahuas exploring together, you've probably found Mickey and his big brother.

Michael's Journey
Mickey joined our family in March of 2022, just a little over a year after we brought home his big brother, Maxie. He came from the very same breeder and, just like Maxie, he was the last little puppy left. The breeder couldn't keep him, so when we heard he still needed a home, we didn't hesitate. Bringing him home meant Maxie would have his brother by his side.
From the moment Mickey arrived, the two became inseparable. Whether they're exploring the homestead, greeting visitors, or curling up together for an afternoon nap in the shade, they're almost never far apart. If one is around the corner, the other isn't far behind.
Mickey has an outgoing personality that wins people over almost instantly. He loves meeting new friends—both people and animals—and never seems intimidated by creatures many times his size. From chickens and turkeys to pigs and goats, everyone is simply another friend waiting to be greeted.
Even though he's one of the smallest residents on the homestead, Mickey proves every day that a big heart has nothing to do with size. His cheerful spirit, gentle nature, and unwavering bond with Maxie make him one of the happiest little ambassadors of Leddy's Homestead. ❤️
